Sleep training in Australia

I got this note from my sister this morning: "Sorry about the slow reply. Eliza and I have been at Tresillian sleep school and we are still away, don't get back til Thursday."

My sister lives in Australia, where you can apparently go to a kind of sleep training sleepaway camp with your baby.

Thanks for providing some fascinating background for this. I wondered what Eleanor was talking about!

I thought that this was a joke!

I am sorry Nancy and Eleanor but I just can't imagine any person going to a sleep clinic for a baby. Again, I wonder how all of us "old" mothers raised our kids without these kind of places. I am a believer in Dr. John Rosemond and his practical take on parenting. Just call me "old fashioned".

I sleep trained my son and have been thanking my lucky stars ever since. My philosophy- when you know better, you do better. I love learning new things- especially when good sleep for all is the subject matter!
