The granite and deep stainless steel undermount sink are by Granite Design. Andy from the Good Handyman is coordinating the work.
Up next: bone white subway tile backsplash, new cabinet pulls, enhanced under cabinet lighting over the sink and some touch-up painting.

Beautiful! Hope the girls don't bump their heads on the sharper, harder countertop corners, however.

g hasn't bumped his head on ours because i jsut kept telling him about them and so far, at 3, he's somehow been able to resist. He finds many other ways to hurt himself with thigns that are not even hard or sharp, so I'm kind of amazed. And hey! We both have green apple walls in our kitchens!

These corners are not sharp at all. If anything, lack of splinters makes them safer! Now, they may be more slippery, but we need to break the kids of their habit of climbing on the counters anyway.

The best part is when it's all done and you realize it's really your new kitchen. We did our about a year ago and I still love it.
