I'm still pretty uncomfortable, but it feels good to know what I've got and that it is treatable, it won't return and shouldn't leave any lasting marks.

I have a diagnosis
I was able to see a dermatologist this morning, who immediately diagnosed my rash as Pityriasis Rosea. He gave me a stronger topical medicine and told me that lying in a tanning bed might help speed my recovery.

My sister totally had this when we were kids and she accidentally fell in the lake at my grandparents house (in March, in RI - brrrr). Who knows what was in that water?! I've never heard of anyone else having it.

@Emily I know, I wanted to whip out my camera phone and record him saying that. He couldn't even look me in the eye. But Google University confirms that UV therapy is a treatment for PR.
Whew! Sorry it is still uncomfortable but glad you know what the heck is going on and that it is gonna go away soon.
